Real Madrid ‘make world-record £240m offer’ for PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe
French World Cup winner is among the stars eyed to relaunch the Galacticos era with Eden Hazard and Paul Pogba
REAL MADRID have made a world-record £240million offer for Kylian Mbappe in an effort to create a new era of Galacticos, according to reports.
The Paris Saint-Germain superstar is one of three mammoth deals Zinedine Zidane hopes to complete this summer, alongside Eden Hazard and Paul Pogba.
The 20-year-old snubbed the Spanish giants for Paris when he left Monaco for around £156m in 2017, but he has remained consistently linked with a move to Madrid.
The World Cup winner could finally be on his way to the Santiago Bernabeu after the La Liga side offered a world record transfer fee of £240m, according to
The report adds that Zidane wants the striker to be the next star name to join the club after believing that Madrid have already secured deals for both Hazard and Pogba.
THE REAL DEAL
Mbappe has scored 94 times for PSG and France in his fledgeling career - more than both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi at the same age.
Also, Mbappe's return this term in Ligue 1 (30) has equalled Thierry Henry's record of the most goals scored by a French player in a single season.
His international team-mate Pogba, another superstar adored by Zidane, recently revealed joining Real would be a huge honour.
The 26-year-old said: “Real Madrid is a dream for anyone. It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world.
“There is also Zidane as a coach and it’s a dream for anybody who likes football.
“For now I’m at Manchester. We don’t know what the future holds. I’m at Manchester and I’m happy.”
