STARE WAY TO HELL

Neil Warnock leaves fans in hysterics as Cardiff boss stares into TV camera like Liam Gallagher

As the Bluebirds faced relegation, their veteran manager amazed social media by walking fast towards camera, glaring straight into it

WITH his Cardiff side Definitely Maybe looking relegated, Neil Warnock produced an impersonation of a Liam Gallagher camera-stare that was even more frightening than the Bluebirds‘ predicament.

Social media was amused and bemused as the veteran boss strode at speed towards a backpedalling TV camera – glaring fiercely into it, like a sinking man’s Zombie.

Neil Warnock glares straight into the camera as he shows the intensity of the situation for Cardiff in their do-or-die battle with Palace

Warnock’s expression of ferocious intensity briefly diverted attention from Cardiff’s doomed situation – as they went on to confirm their relegation from the Premier League with a 3-2 home defeat against Crystal Palace

And his “weird” walk with a “gurning” face sparked a torrent of Twitter comments from alarmed armchair critics.

One said: “Neil Warnock sticking his face into the camera produced one of the most unpleasant things ever to appear on my tv screen.”

Another was slightly more generous, saying: “Warnock gurning into the camera. hilarious.”

But a few fans defended Warnock’s actions – claiming TV cameras had got too close.

One such tweet read: “Warnock is a tool but I rate that. Give him some space camera man, you’ve got a zoom button on there. Went full Liam Gallagher with it.”
