CARDIFF are braced to receive offers for Josh Murphy if they fail to beat relegation from the Premier League.

The winger, 24, has attracted interest from top-flight rivals Burnley and Crystal Palace.

Murphy arrived last summer for £11million from Norwich and has played 28 times this season.

Cardiff could get their money back in the summer after Murphy adapted well to his first full Prem term.

Neil Warnock’s side are favourites to go down with Fulham and Huddersfield as they are four points below safety with just two games to play.

And Murphy's exit would be a big blow to Warnock, who labelled Murphy his "number one target" last summer.

Warnock said at the time: “Josh is a player I’ve watched for a number of years now and he’s always excited me when he runs with the ball.

“I think he’s at the right age now with his best still to come."

Wembley-born Murphy, who won three England Under-20 caps, will surely be keen to stay in the Prem.

And whatever happens he could end up taking on twin brother Jacob.

Fellow winger Jacob is hoping to bounce back up to the top flight in the play-offs with West Brom.

But if the Baggies miss out, and Cardiff go down, then that on-pitch battle would take place in the Championship.
