Juventus ‘meet Paul Pogba’s agent to discuss summer transfer’ for out-of-sorts Man Utd star
The Serie A giants are ramping their efforts to pluck the French midfielder away from Old Trafford
PAUL POGBA could reportedly re-sign for Juventus in the summer after the Manchester United star's agent, Mino Raiola, held talks with club officials.
Pogba, 26, has underlying concerns about United and he isn't sure whether Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is the right man to steer them forward.
The Frenchman has come under fire over his recent displays and he was slammed by Roy Keane last week for not tracking back enough during games.
SunSport revealed earlier today that Pogba is desperate to force through a move away from Old Trafford and he has his heart set on joining Real Madrid.
It is suggested that the Frenchman wants to play for Zinedine Zidane and link up with Eden Hazard who could pitch up at the Bernabeu.
But there could be a twist in the transfer plot, with other reports suggesting he could end up back at Juve, the club he left nearly three years ago to join United.
The Irish Times claim that who discussed a number of transfer matters.
Pogba's name cropped up and it was agreed that the two parties would continue to talk about a possible deal in the coming months.
Were Juve to sign Pogba, they may have to offload the likes of Miralem Pjanic and Douglas Costa to make a deal materialise.
Although speculation has been mounting over Pogba's future, Solskjaer reckons he will stay but he hasn't given any assurances.
He said: "I think he will be here next season.
"Paul has done fantastic for us. We want him to do well. He is a leader in the dressing room.
"If I could guarantee I would say yes. You can't guarantee but I think he will be."
