Inter Milan offer Alexis Sanchez escape route from Man Utd but tell flop striker to lower crazy wage demands
The Chilean has raked in £505,000-a-week since leaving Arsenal in January 2018 and has fared awfully at Old Trafford
INTER MILAN have offered Alexis Sanchez an escape route out of Manchester United - but have told the flop forward to lower his crazy wage demands, according to reports.
The Chilean forward, 30, has raked in £505,000-a-week since leaving Arsenal in January 2018 and has fared awfully at Old Trafford.
Sanchez has scored just three Premier League goals in well over a year at United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to offload the flop in a massive summer overhaul.
The Norwegian chief is also thought to be keen on shedding Marcos Rojo and his £150,000-a-week wages - and five other big-earning stars.
Sanchez's time at United was aptly summed up during the 2-0 derby defeat by Manchester City on Wednesday.
The former Gunners ace came on with 12 minutes to play - and touched the ball just once, while raking in a £75,000 bonus for the cameo.
But the San Siro side are not willing to take a chance on the struggling star if he insists on keeping his current pay packet.
Sources close to the situation claim there's "almost no market" for Sanchez following his swap deal with Henrikh Mkhitaryan last year.
Paris Saint-Germain also see Sanchez as an option - with FFP restrictions meaning they're almost certain to lose one of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, or even both.
Reports now claim Sanchez's camp are mulling over the offer from Inter - debating whether the move would be worth the almighty pay-cut.
Meanwhile, Solskjaer is also aiming to offload the contracts of Juan Mata, Ander Herrera, Matteo Darmian and Antonio Valencia this summer.
The Norwegian will need every penny he can get to create a squad in his own image - having lost seven of his last nine matches as manager this season.
