Pogba scored the third and decisive goal in the final against Croatia as France became World Champions for the second time
FRANCE's World Cup hero PAUL POGBA is selling his boots from the Moscow final to try and raise around £40,000 for charity.
The Man Utd star signed the boots he used to score France’s third and decisive goal in the 4-2 win over Croatia to be crowned world champions for only the second time in their history.
Pogba’s boot will go under the hammer at auction house Christie’s Paris to benefit Les Etoiles de la Source and are estimated to be worth between £25,000 and £43,000.
As well as the boots, the 26-year-old who is an honorary president of the organisation has also donated six shirts and a signed Champions League ball.
Pogba said: “It is with great respect and emotion that I commit myself to this association which is doing a great job for these young people in difficulty.
“As I myself grew up in Roissy-en-Brie (a suburb of Paris), I know how hard it can be to succeed professionally.
“I wish from the bottom of my heart that many people will take action for this wonderful cause and that these young people will have a better future both personally and professionally.”
Les Etoiles de la Source promotes integration and reintegration through sport.
