Tottenham join Man Utd in race for Crystal Palace wonderkid Wan-Bissaka

TOTTENHAM have been linked with Manchester United target Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

And England right-back Kieran Trippier could make way for the Crystal Palace starlet as Mauricio Pochettino ponders a huge summer overhaul of his Spurs squad.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is now thought to be a top target of Spurs as well as Man Utd

SunSport exclusively revealed last month that United scouts have watched £40million-rated Wan-Bissaka, several times this season.

Now London’s Evening Standard say Pochettino wants the Londoner as part of a revamped defence at the new Tottenham Stadium.

Tripper, 28, and his deputy Serge Aurier, 26, are rated prime candidates to be among up to 12 Spurs players facing a possible exit in the next transfer window.

Ex-Burnley ace Trippier admits his form has dipped this term after an outstanding 2017-18 campaign, including a regular place in the England side that reached the World Cup semi-finals.

His 25-yard free-kick opener in the 2-1 loss to Croatia was one of the highlights for the Three Lions in Russia.

But Tripper himself has said of his recent performances: “I could have done a lot better this season.”

United, though, might well have the strongest interest in Wan-Bissaka – as they look to add more English players and also replace Antonio Valencia, 33.

Arsenal and Manchester City, plus German giants Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, are other reported admirers of the England Under-21 defender.
