FANS got more than what they bargained for when they turned up to Blundell Park to watch Grimsby in action against Stevenage this afternoon.
Supporters were left stunned after they were treated to the sight of Willy Wonka and his Oompa Loompas for the League Two match.
And working at a chocolate factory has proven to be thirsty work after the group were snapped enjoying a pint of beer at half-time.
One person at the match tweeted: "Since when did Oompa Loompas support #GTFC? LOL!"
While another commented: "Just your typical matchday crowd at Blundell Park.
"Willy Wonka and some Oompa Loompas joining the Pontoon faithful @officialgtfc."
Another said: "Still 0-0 after 15 minutes here at Blundell Park in the League Two clash between @officialgtfc and @StevenageFC.
"Just been treated to the surreal sight of 20 Oompah Loompas on a stag do walking round the pitch while being serenaded by fans singing ‘Willy Wonka/Willy Wonka...’"
