Neymar opens door to La Liga comeback after admitting he ‘really misses’ Messi and Suarez on return to PSG training
Brazilian says he longs for the connection he had as part of MSN trio at the Nou Camp
NEYMAR has opened the door to a possible La Liga return after admitting he misses special moments with Barcelona teammates Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez - while returning to training for Paris Saint-Germain.
The trio were once the most feared attacking unit in world football, sweeping everybody aside as they won the La Liga and Champions League double in 2015.
Two years later, the Brazilian - who trained alone after recovering from a metatarsal injury sustained in January - moved from the Nou Camp to PSG for a world-record fee of £198m.
Despite winning the league title in his first full season in Paris, the French giants have under-performed in European football.
Neymar has been linked to a shock return to Barcelona and Real Madrid are also supposedly considering bringing him back to Spain.
In a candid conversation with two-time World Cup winner Ronaldo for the, Neymar revealed he is homesick for Spanish football, saying: “We had a great season.
“We were a very good team. Inside and outside of the pitch. Our relationship was very special. I really miss these moments.”
Neymar returned to training on Wednesday after ten weeks on the sidelines with a foot injury.
The Brazil international required surgery on the problem after he injured himself on January 23 during a French Cup clash against Strasbourg - spending some of his downtime partying in Brazil.
The 27 year-old said: “It is tough. The hardest moments of our careers are these injury periods.

“To be out of the pitch, the surgeries, it’s awful. I can’t stand to be without playing, practising, away from my team-mates. It’s not good. But it’s part of the job.”
Ronaldo can sympathise, having suffered horrendous knees injuries with Inter Milan in 2000 and it’s fair to say he was never really the same player again.
Understandably, he has advised the Brazil No10 to return to first-team action only when he is ready and ignore those trying to push him too soon.
Ronaldo, 42, now club president at Valladolid, said: “I have passed through injuries, too. They are very intense.
“We are involved in our club, with the national team and I was disappointed to not be part of it.
“And you have to learn not to be too self-critical. To avoid the pressure.
“You have to focus on the rehabilitation, spending time with people you love.
“Take the time you need, because you have to be 100 per cent to be back on the pitch.”
