MESUT OZIL thanked the "King of Bollywood" Shah Rukh Khan for cheering him on during Arsenal's 2-0 win over Newcastle.
The 53-year-old actor was introduced to the German midfielder and team-mate Granit Xhaka after the clash at the Emirates.
Ozil, 30, was the star of the show for Arsenal as the victory rocketed them above Tottenham and into third in the Premier League.
After he picked up his Man of the Match award, he posed for a photograph alongside his fiancee Amine Gulse and Khan.
He uploaded the snap to Twitter with the caption: "It was a big honour to have you as my special guest during yesterday's match. Thanks for coming! @iamsrk."
Khan, who has appeared in over 80 Bollywood films, also shared the snaps with his 37.8 million social media followers.
He added the caption: "What a lovely evening @Arsenal congratulations. Thanks Mesut Ozil and #AmineGulse for your warmth, love and hospitality. See you guys soon in India."
Xhaka missed the match against the Magpies as he failed to recover from an injury that he picked up on international duty.

But he also got to the chance to get a photo with Khan - three years after he posed alongside his waxwork.
The Swiss midfielder, 26, posted the snap to his Instagram and added the caption: "I love watching @iamsrk perform and I hope he enjoyed the performance @Arsenal put on last night.
"An honour for me to finally meet one of my favourite actors, and for real this time."
