ENGLAND captain Harry Kane received an MBE from Prince William at Buckingham Palace today following the Three Lions' World Cup heroics.
Kane, 25, was collected the honour from the Duke of Cambridge for services to football.
Tottenham's striker led England to the semi-finals of a major competition for the first time since Italia '90.
He also won the Golden Boot in Russia after hitting six goals for Gareth Southgate's men.
England came close to reaching their first World Cup final since lifting the coveted trophy in 1966.
But they were knocked out by Croatia and a Mario Mandzukic extra-time goal that sent Kane and his men home.
The group were still regarded as heroes and Kane was credited for his efforts by being named in the Queen's 2019 New Year Honours list.
HARRY THE HERO
Kane arrived at Buckingham Palace in London alongside his parents, Kim and Patrick, and partner Kate Goodland.
He was met by Prince William who pinned an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) to his suit.
Kane has taken his World Cup form into the Premier League this season with 17 goals, one behind top scorer Sergio Aguero.
And he took his England tally to 22 goals in 37 games with strikes against the Czech Republic and Montenegro in the past week.
