Real Madrid hijack Barcelona’s Rabiot move as they agree deal with Man Utd and Chelsea target
French midfielder leaving PSG on free transfer and now looks destined to make Bernabeu switch
REAL MADRID have reportedly hijacked Barcelona’s move for Paris Saint-Germain contract rebel Adrien Rabiot.
Spanish newspaper AS claims the midfielder is heading to the Spanish capital after agreeing a contract with Zinedine Zidane’s side.
Rabiot is available on a free transfer after announcing he would not be renewing his deal with PSG.
Barcelona were understood to be favourites for his signature after months of talks.
But lengthy negotiations allowed Manchester United to slip in with an offer, as exclusively revealed by SunSport.
Chelsea have also been given a bite of the cherry, despite their transfer ban.
While Arsenal are keen after losing Aaron Ramsey to Juventus.
However, it seems Real are set to land Rabiot’s coveted signature this summer.
Zidane is ready to ring the changes after making a stunning return to the Bernabeu.
And Rabiot could now be set to compete with the likes of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric for a place in Real’s midfield.
