Who's left?

Five left backs Arsenal have been linked with to replace Monreal – but who’s likely to join?

Unai Emery appears to be going all-out to bolster his left flank, with the likes of Alaba, Tierney and Moreno all linked

ARSENAL appear to have set their sights on a new left-back to replace Nacho Monreal this summer.

The Spanish defender, 33, has been linked with a move to Barcelona as his six-year tenure in North London looks done and dusted.

Now, Unai Emery appears to be going all-out to bolster his left flank, with a host of big names linked with a move to the Emirates.

Check out the five top targets below - and then vote on which left-back you would like to see at Arsenal next season...

DAVID ALABA (Bayern Munich)

ALABA could be the logical choice for the Gunners - because he is a fan of the Premier League side.

The Austrian international still has two years remaining on his Bayern Munich contract, the club he has been at since leaving Austria Vienna in 2008.

Even though he insists he is “happy” at the German giants, Alaba has admitted he is tempted by a future switch to Arsenal.

ALEX GRIMALDO (Benfica)

ARSENAL remain in the frame to sign Benfica full-back Grimaldo despite interest from Juventus and Real Madrid.

Emery has been a long-term admirer of the Spain Under-21 star - but Grimaldo will likely not come cheap.

ALBERTO MORENO (Liverpool)

MORENO is out of contract next summer and looks unlikely to sign a new deal after falling out of favour at Liverpool.

That could mean a cut-price deal - which is perfect for the Gunners who are struggling to stump up the cash for a summer splurge.

Emery worked with Moreno at Sevilla and formed a good relationship with his fellow Spaniard.

NICOLAS TAGLIAFICO (Ajax)

TAGLIAFICO is another Ajax star seemingly destined to leave the club in the coming months.

The Argentine is an £8m target for the Gunners as Emery looks to replace for Monreal and Sead Kolasinac.

KIERAN TIERNEY (Celtic)

ARSENAL are plotting a sensational £25million summer raid on Celtic for Tierney.

The Gunners have been tracking the full-back, 21, for two years and are convinced he has what it takes to take the Premier League by storm.
