Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus set to ditch iconic stripes after controversial new kit is leaked
Fans on social media were furious that the kit has been designed with a thick pink stripe on the front and back
LEAKED images appear to show Juventus' new home kit for next season - but fans are not impressed.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Co look set to ditch their iconic black and white stripes in favour of a more simple design.
FootyHeadlines, who specialise in the early release of football gear, revealed a number of images of the new kit.
The design is still predominantly in the club's traditional colours, but it has a thick pink stripe running down the centre.
Juventus' badge, the Adidas logo and the Jeep sponsorship will remain on the front.
Half of the kit is black and the other half is white - with different coloured sleeves on either side.
It is expected to be launched in May ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.
Fans on social media could not believe their eyes when the leaked images were posted to Twitter.
One wrote: "That could be one of the worst looking kits I have ever seen - front and back."
While another added: "Who thought it would be a good idea to add a pink stripe to a Juventus kit?"
But one more positive fan said: "If you swapped the pink stripe for gold it might be okay."
