EDEN HAZARD reportedly remains in “pole position” to join Real Madrid despite his £100million switch coming under threat from Chelsea’s transfer ban.
claims the Belgian is still set to link up with Zinedine Zidane in a mega-money move this summer.
That’s despite beliefs that Chelsea will attempt to keep hold of all their players this summer after being told they can’t make new signings for the next two transfer windows.
Hazard has just over a year remaining on his Stamford Bridge deal.
But Blues defender Andreas Christensen recently revealed the club had told players they were all staying put next term.
He told Danish paper Ekstra Bladet: “The messages we’ve got are that Chelsea can’t appeal the case and therefore want to keep all the players.
“The situation I have ended up in has been very difficult to accept.”

However, reports in Spain claim Chelsea chiefs are open to the possibility of cashing in on Hazard rather than losing him on a free transfer in 2020.
The Blues have already secured a £50m deal for Borussia Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic.
And Hazard’s exit would also provide Callum Hudson-Odoi with more first-team opportunities as Chelsea look to convince the Bayern Munich target to sign a new deal.
