Arsenal player ratings: Mustafi shocker but Suarez proves Emery would be crazy to leave him out after Al-Nasr friendly

Carl Jenkinson, Alexandre Lacazette and Tyreece John-Jules found the net as the Gunners escaped an early scare in Dubai

DENIS SUAREZ proved Unai Emery would be crazy to offload him this summer with an impressive performance during the 3-2 win over Al-Nasr.

The Spanish star silenced his critics as the Gunners escaped an early scare to win the friendly in Dubai.

Carl Jenkinson cemented his title as Arsenal's fan favourite when he bagged the equaliser before half-time.

Alexandre Lacazette doubled their tally before 18-year-old Tyreece John-Jules made his mark with the third.

See how the Arsenal players performed with the SunSport ratings...

Bernd Leno

Was called into action twice in the first four minutes after a shambolic start from Arsenal's defence. He couldn't stop Ronnie Fernadez's sublime strike in the 14th minute, but managed to keep out Alvaro Negredo's best efforts.

Carl Jenkinson

The club's fan favourite bagged the equaliser before half-time after his initial effort rebounded off the crossbar. He showed he possesses a strikers instinct as he chased down the rebound and slotted it into the net.

Shkodran Mustafi

Recklessly gave away a free-kick in the early stages before his comically bad defending led to Al-Nasr breaking the deadlock. Another shocking display from the German.

Konstantinos Mavropanos

Greek defender made a slow start and struggled to deal with the pace of the strikers. Did not help him that he had no cover from Medley down the flank.

Zech Medley

Had the confidence to show off his silky skills when he charged up the pitch, but defensively there's certainly room for improvement. He failed to track back, which left his team-mates outnumbered and the Al-Nasr forwards in space.

Charlie Gilmour

Another confident Arsenal youngster considering it was his first game for the senior squad. Charged forward well and wasn't afraid to take a shot at goal.

Ben Sheaf

English youngster showed glimpses of greatness, but needs to give the Arsenal defenders more cover. Always looked to move the ball forward when he was in possession.

Xavier Amaechi

Struggled to make an impact from the right-hand side, but he caused problems when the ball was delivered into his feet and he could run at defenders.

Mesut Ozil

Failed to show his dominance in a game where he is expected to stand out from the crowd. Used the width of the pitch well, but was outplayed in the middle at times. Improved in the second half before he was hauled off.

Denis Suarez

Was Arsenal's biggest threat in the first half amid claims that Emery will ship him back to Barcelona this summer. He looked impressive with the ball at his feet and his pace caused Al-Nasr problems throughout.

Alexandre Lacazette

Incredibly quiet first half, but the midfielders were giving him very little to work with and he was constantly surrounded by an army of defenders. The striker took his first proper chance of the game to give Arsenal the lead.
