Cristiano Ronaldo confirms doubts he could miss Ajax vs Juventus Champions League clash with injury
Portuguese star was hauled off and replaced by Pizzi after 31 minutes of Portugal's 1-1 draw with Serbia in Lisbon
CRISTIANO RONALDO confirmed he is a doubt for Juventus' Champions League quarter-final clash against Ajax.
The 34-year-old limped off with an apparent hamstring injury during Portugal's 1-1 draw with Serbia on Monday.
And the Juventus forward admitted after the game that he could be out of action for up to two weeks.
Speaking to reporters after the game, he said: "I'm not worried about this injury and I'm not afraid.
"I know my body well. I think I'll be fine in a week or two."
Ronaldo will face a race against time to get fit for the first leg in Amsterdam on Wednesday 10 April before the return fixture six days later.
The Portuguese ace fired Massimiliano Allegri's side into the quarter-finals with a stunning hat-trick against Atletico Madrid.
And the five-time Ballon d'Or winner is also set to miss league games against Empoli, Cagliari and AC Milan.
He was hauled off and replaced by Pizzi after just 31 minutes of the Euro 2020 qualifier in Lisbon.
Ronaldo pulled up while chasing a loose ball and immediately signalled to the sidelines that he wanted to come off.
Portugal were losing 1-0 when their talisman hobbled off after Dusan Tadic opened the scoring after seven minutes from the penalty spot.
But Danilo Pereira equalised with an incredible 25-yard strike to save the day for the Euro 2016 winners.
