LEICESTER CITY players and staff are in Thailand for the cremation of late owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.
The likes of manager Brendan Rodgers, captain Wes Morgan and star player Jamie Vardy visited a Buddhist temple in Bangkok as they prepare to say goodbye to the tragic billionaire who died in a helicopter crash outside the King Power Stadium in October.
Khun Vichai was among five people who died when his helicopter spun out of control and landed in the ground’s car park after a Premier League match against West Ham.
His funeral was held in November, and in keeping with Buddhist beliefs has been in rest for 100 days.
Khun Vichai will now be cremated as part of the final funeral process.
And Leicester players and staff arrived in Thailand today after jetting off from the UK on Wednesday morning.
Rodgers and his stars will then fly back early Saturday morning to prepare for the home clash with Bournemouth a week later.
