Rabiot’s mother aims sly dig at Neymar and claims son is a ‘prisoner’ at PSG

ADRIEN RABIOT'S mother has hit out at Neymar and claimed her son is "a prisoner" at Paris Saint-Germain.
Veronique Rabiot, who acts as the midfielder's agent, believes the 23-year-old is being unfairly treated by the Ligue 1 giants.
Rabiot is out of contract in the summer and wanted by a host of top European clubs, including Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool.
The 23-year-old has been suspended and frozen out of the squad by PSG boss Thomas Tuchel, not playing since December 11, and having to train away alone, having been banned from entering the Camp des Loges training centre.
But Veronique believes his treatment has been harsh - while certain other members of the squad after given a much longer leash.
She told French newspaper : "They are taking away his bonuses, a part of his salary, but nobody is saying anything… There are players who are six minutes late to a meeting (Rabiot vs Marseille) and there are others who are injured but can go to the other side of the world, to the Rio carnival…"
Earlier, she had described her son as a "prisoner" and a "hostage" at the club.

"Adrien is a prisoner," said Veronique, "He is even a hostage at PSG.
"Soon, it is dry bread, water and a dungeon! This world is cruel… A footballer exists to play, not to stay on the shelf."
She added: "He has been taken hostage because he does not want to sign again, when all he is doing is respecting his contract.
"Adrien is only asking for that: to respect his contract."
