FORMER Southampton starlet Adrian Caceres has been sent to prison for dealing CRYSTAL METH.
The Argentine midfielder, 37, began his career with Saints before playing for Brentford, Hull City, Yeovil, Wycombe and Aldershot.
But an Australian court has now handed Caceres an 18-month jail term after finding him guilty of Breaking Bad-style activities.
The Saint turned sinner has played for a string of Aussie clubs, winning the A-League title with Melbourne Victory in 2007.
Western Australia district court heard Caceres was arrested with 11 grams of crystal meth and 50 bags of white powder in a Melbourne suburb two years ago.
The hearing was told he used the drug between the ages of 21 and 35, including the latter part of his stay in England.
Judge Simon Stone said: "The quantity of the drugs and the number of clip-seal bags indicate that Caceres is a low-level user-dealer for reward.
"Methamphetamine causes a significant amount of misery. Not only to the addicts, but to the family of the addicts and the community. Because it is so crime related.
"Most of the offending that come before this court is related to methamphetamine use, or illicit substances, in one way or another."
Buenos Aires-born Caceres failed to break into Southampton's first team.
However he made 42 senior appearances, scoring three goals, for his other English clubs before moving Down Under in 2005.
