Chelsea fans still not happy with Sarri team selection despite Hudson-Odoi and Loftus-Cheek starting
CHELSEA fans are still not happy with Maurizio Sarri’s team selection – despite giving starts to Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ruben Loftus-Cheek tonight.
The Blues take on Dynamo Kiev tonight in the second leg of their last-16 Europa League tie, holding a 3-0 lead.
While Chelsea supporters should have been left happy to have finally been granted their wish of a Hudson-Odoi and Loftus-Cheek playing, they found another reason to be angry.
Today’s bone of contention involved Ethan Ampadu after he wasn’t even named in the squad for Dynamo Kiev.
Ampadu travelled to Ukraine but was left out of the 18-man matchday squad – with Chelsea fans fuming.
One supporter wrote: “I mean has Ampadu been forgotten????????”
Another said: “Ampadu really could’ve made the bench ahead of Luiz.”
A third claimed: “Only complaint is the omission of Ampadu from the bench, seems harsh to make him travel again and not put him at least on the bench again.”
Here’s how Twitter reacted to Sarri‘s latest youngster snub…
