Sarri has not spoken with Hazard about Zidane’s return to Real Madrid but ex-Prem owner Jordan gives Chelsea hope of keeping talisman

MAURIZIO SARRI is “not worried” about the increasing speculation that star man Eden Hazard is braced for a summer move to Real Madrid.

Zinedine Zidane’s return to the Bernabeu has pushed the Belgium closer to the Stamford Bridge exit door with the Frenchman determined to land his long-term target.

Hazard, 28, has just over a year left on his current contract and made it no secret of his desire to play under the Los Blancos boss. 

Real Madrid have made the first move to sign Hazard by contacting Chelsea with a £100million package. 

But boss Sarri insists he has not held a conversation with Hazard about Zidane and only wants players that are willing to give their all to the club.

Ahead of their Europa League clash with Dynamo Kiev, he said: “You have to ask to Hazard (about Zidane) I think.

“I don’t know at the moment. I didn’t speak with Eden about Zidane.

“I am not worried because you know my opinion. I want only in my team players who want to play for Chelsea, so I can’t be worried.”

Hazard’s team-mate Emerson even admitted the rest of the Chelsea squad are “terrified” at the thought of losing the winger.

But former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan has given the top four hopefuls a glimmer of encouragement.

With Chelsea set for a transfer ban, he thinks there is no need for Sarri to sell his prized asset.

Speaking to talkSPORT, he said: “The kid sends out mixed messages.

“You never know whether you’re Arthur or Martha with him.

“One minute he’s here and the next he’s going.

“So I don’t think it’s necessarily a foregone conclusion that he’ll go to Madrid because I think Chelsea have still got a lot of lure about them.

“Everyone’s house is for sale if someone offers you twice the price for it.

“In this situation, what benefit is the money if they can’t buy any players?

“I think it’s a sad situation for English football if we lose a prestigious talent like that, because he is a very talented player and I don’t think Real Madrid and Barcelona are bigger clubs than the English clubs anymore.”
