How Chelsea will be forced to line up next season under transfer ban by playing Morata and Hazard and Hudson-Odoi BOTH staying

CHELSEA were left heartbroken today after Fifa ruled they will not be allowed to postpone their two-window transfer ban.

The Blues had hoped to delay the suspension and splash a whopping £200million this summer on the likes of Kalidou Koulibaly and Mauro Icardi.

But now it seems Chelsea will have to make do with the tools at their disposal – and may now miss out on Zinedine Zidane taking over as boss.

The talented crop of youth players at Stamford Bridge will now be licking their lips at the prospect of some first team action – but will they actually get to play?

In goal, record-signing Kepa Arrizabalaga will be the No1 starter, while the back four reads the same as this season – including the highly-impressive Antonio Rudiger.

In midfield it’s high-time Ruben Loftus-Cheek proved he is the main man – along with Jorginho and N’Golo Kante.

Callum Hudson-Odoi has more than proven he deserves to start after a goal in his brief cameo against Dynamo Kiev.

Along with January signing Christian Pulisic and Eden Hazard, he could be part of a fearsome front-three.

Chelsea will welcome back Michy Batshuayi for next season – along with Alvaro Morata – but neither of those two or Olivier Giroud have proven consistent enough in West London.

That means Hazard may be entrusted with a false-nine role – as the best option in the middle of attack.

A free-roaming Hazard flanked by Pulisic and Hudson-Odoi would certainly get the fans excited for some thrilling action.

But missing out on Inter Milan wantaway Icardi will prove a bitter pill to swallow.

Pedro and Willian both played well in their recent Europa League win, but certainly are not the future for the Blues.
