claims Conte could be in line to replace Max Allegri following Juve’s shortcomings in the Champions League.

Conte won three successive league titles with the Turin club between 2011 and 2014.

He also topped Serie A five times as a Juventus player and lifted the 1996 Champions League trophy.

And Conte could now be set to lead the Bianconeri for a second time, with Andrea Pirlo as his assistant.

However, that does not mean Chelsea will be let off the hook paying Conte his compensation.

The Blues sacked him last summer with a year remaining on his £9million-a-season deal.

Chelsea are yet to settle up, claiming Conte caused his own downfall after his axing of Diego Costa went public.

But although he is now in line to take another job, claims Conte will still eventually receive his payout from Roman Abramovich.
