BAYERN MUNICH star Robert Lewandowski has reportedly agreed a new contract.
claims the striker will put pen-to-paper on a deal which will keep him at the Allianz Arena until 2023.
Lewandowski’s Bayern agreement signals an incredible U-turn by the ace after he tried to quit the club last summer.
The Poland international came in for criticism for his bad form and felt nobody at the club was defending him.
Lewandowski admitted: “In April, May, everyone shot at me. And I felt no protection from the club, I felt alone in the situation.
“I scored no goals in two or three important games and suddenly everybody was talking about: fire Lewandowski.

“I did not feel anyone was behind me at the time. Neither of the bosses defended me.”
It led to speculation that Lewandowski was wanted by Manchester United.
While Chelsea apparently made him their top target before signing Gonzalo Higuain instead.
But Lewandowski is now set to stay at Bayern and his focus will now be turned on Liverpool in the Champions League, with John Barnes warning his former team that the hitman is the “best in the world.”
