CARDIFF vowed to work with the FA over Neil Warnock’s dealing involving son James at the Premier League strugglers.

SunSport revealed yesterday that the sport’s governing body were demanding answers from Cardiff’s manager and his son over three specific deals in the 2017-18 season.

A spokesman for the embattled Premier League club confirmed last night: “Cardiff City will work with the FA to ensure it receives all information needed to determine the facts.”

Skipper Sean Morrison left his agent and used James Warnock to negotiate a bumper new three year deal in the summer of 2017.

Warnock’s son was also used to broker a new deal for striker Rhys Healey.

He signed a contract in October 2017 that takes the striker up to the end of next season.

James Warnock is also named on official FA paperwork for negotiating Craig Noone’s contract cancellation.

Noone had a year left on his contract when the Bluebirds agreed to terminate it in the summer of 2017.

There is also likely to be further scrutiny on the Bluebirds when the FA publishes its annual audit of agents’ involvement with clubs early next month.

The FA are currently putting together a list of every deal involving clubs from all four divisions - including the specific agent used for the each deal.
