MANCHESTER UNITED are considering a move for Angolan wing prodigy Zito Luvumbo.
The 17-year-old, who plays for home-country champions Primeiro de Agusto, has flown in for a trial with the Red Devils' academy.
And if youth international Luvumbo impresses enough to win a deal he faces being loaned to a top-flight Portuguese club to gain experience.
Portugal's big three of Benfica, Porto and Sporting Lisbon have all shown interest in the teenager.
Luvumbo has caught the eye of Old Trafford scouts with his form for Primeiro's youth and reserve sides.
He inspired Angola's Under-17 side to win the COSAFA Cup last year and was named player of the tournament.
The event is a 16-team competition for southern African nations.
He impressed by scoring goals both in open play and directly from set-pieces, showing an incredible turn of pace, as well as an ability to cross.
Zito was also called up for the Under-20 COSAFA Cup, that took place in December, as Angola got knocked out in the semi-finals.
Manchester United signed Angolan striker Manucho in 2008 but the forward made just one appearance, before playing a handful of top-flight games during a spell on loan at Hull City.
Manucho won 52 caps. Now 35, he went on to have a long and successful career with Spanish clubs Valladolid and Rayo Vallecano.
United beat Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain to the signing of 16-year-old French starlet Noam Emeran last month.
