Lewandowski and Bayern Munich’s mega-bucks stars train at lowly Tranmere ahead of Liverpool clash
BAYERN MUNICH trained at Tranmere Rovers' Prenton Park ahead of their Champions League clash against Liverpool.
The Bundesliga giants arrived in a big red bus for their pre-match training session ahead of tonight's game.
Robert Lewandowski, 30, could be seen trudging off the bus in a tracksuit along with the rest of Niko Kovac's squad.
The Bundesliga champs will be without Jerome Boateng, Leon Goretzka, Arjen Robben, Corentin Tolisso and Thomas Muller for the game at Anfield with the five all either injured or suspended.
Bayern just wanted to stretch their legs and do some late tactical work ahead of the game.
Kovac, 47, is already under pressure with Borussia Dortmund leading the Bundesliga table after Bayern won the last six titles in a row.

But tonight could be a huge statement of intent if they can get a result at Anfield against Premier League-chasers Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp will be determined to win against a team that he got the better of in his native Germany and cemented his reputation as one of football's great modern coaches.
And revenge will be on the table as well, after Bayern beat Dortmund in the 2013 Champions League final as Jupp Heynckes team cemented an incredible Treble.
Kovac denied that his side are the favourites and reckons it will be a close tie across two legs.
He said: "I don't know if there is a favourite or not.
"In the Bundesliga we have played against two teams, Dortmund and Leverkusen, who have had a similar playing style and also the right quality, but this is a higher level.
"We have to find the solutions. We have got those solutions, but that depends on what happens on the pitch on the night.
"We probably won't see 0-0. I can't imagine that."
