Mourinho’s advisor Parames launches stinging attack on his Man Utd successor Solskjaer

Norwegian suffered his first defeat against PSG after winning 10 of his first 11 since replacing the Special One

JOSE MOURINHO’S closest aide has launched a stinging attack on his Manchester United successor Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The caretaker has won eight of nine games in the Premier League to put his side firmly in the running for a top-four spot.

But Eladio Parames, in his column for Portuguese sports paper Record, slammed the Norwegian's dodgy record at Cardiff.

He said: “Look at this - United's current coach, Ole Solskjaer, in his first managerial experience in England, took Cardiff down into the Championship with only seven wins and 30 points, finishing 20th in the standings.

“And now you see him back in Manchester.”

Parames - who has known Mourinho since the coach was a child - also attacked Maurizio Sarri and Mauricio Pochettino.

He added: “Sarri, the coach who leads Chelsea, has never won a title and his latest results have culminated in a shameful  defeat against Guardiola.

“Despite this, it is dubbed Sarriball. And the Argentine Mauricio Pochettino, who also does not know what it is to win a title, is treated as Magic Poch.”

And Parames also reckons Mourinho, who has appeared on beIN Sports as a pundit,  deserves more respect than Gary Neville and Thierry Henry.

He explained: “By the way, Mourinho also has a very different status and track record compared to two of the most ‘respected’ commentators on English TV.

“Gary Neville began to train Valencia in December 2015 and only won his first victory in February of the following year, after nine games without positive results.

“In four months, Neville had Valencia eliminated from the Champions League, the Europa League, the King's Cup and was 14th in the league. But he is the one you hear talking on TV today.

“Along with Thierry Henry, who replaced Leonardo Jardim at Monaco and had such good results that, after only 104 days in command, he was fired.”
