JESSE LINGARD dealt Manchester United a huge injury blow as he limped off against Paris Saint-Germain.
The 26-year-old came off with a suspected hamstring injury in the first half of the Champions League tie at Old Trafford.
Lingard was replaced by Alexis Sanchez just seconds before half-time in their 2-0 defeat.
He went down holding his left leg a few minutes earlier and tried to run it off.
But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer withdrew his England star moments later and brought on Sanchez in his place.
The Man Utd boss confirmed after the game it was a muscle injury that would be assessed in the days to follow.
The injury will be a huge blow to Manchester United ahead of a tough stretch of fixtures over the next few weeks.
The Red Devils face Chelsea on Monday in the FA Cup before taking on rivals Liverpool in the Premier League next weekend.
They also have a second leg against PSG on March 5, which is followed by clashes with Arsenal and Manchester City.
Solskjaer will be hoping Lingard will be back sooner rather than later having played a key role in Man Utd's recent revival.
Lingard has scored seven goals so far this season for Manchester United.
