TROY DEENEY has urged Watford fans to leave ex-boss Marco Silva alone - and "let us kick the s*** out of Everton" on the pitch.
The Hornets host the Toffees in the Premier League this weekend but Deeney doesn't want to give the visitors any extra motivation.
Watford fans were furious when Silva upped sticks and left Vicarage Road, but Deeney wants to do his talking on the pitch.
Speaking at a fan event, Deeney said: "The people who work at Everton are fantastic. Not the manager.
"We'd prefer it if you left [Silva] alone... It'll only motivate them more.
"Leave him alone, let us kick the s*** out of them."
Meanwhile, when asked if he planned to speak to Silva, Watford chief executive Scott Duxbury claimed: "I won't be speaking to him.
"I'll let Troy and the team do the talking."
Earlier this season, bitter Watford fans took toy snakes to Goodison Park to show their displeasure at their former boss.
Silva managed the Hornets last season but was sacked in the January after Everton approached the Portuguese manager to take over at Goodison Park.
