Firm makes bespoke luxury £60k car interiors for star footballers like Sterling, Rooney, Morata and Arnautovic
Paul Mitchell, owner of bespoke car interior designers The Only Way Is Custom, gives footballers the ultimate luxury inside their fancy motors
WHEN the top footballers want the bottom line in comfort and luxury inside their cars, this is the man they come to.
Plush leather seats, entertainment systems, including TVs and PlayStations, high-end speakers... it's all delivered by The Only Way Is Custom.
The Essex-based business, run by Paul Mitchell, has designed beposke car interiors for the Premier League's elite.
Wayne and Coleen Rooney, Raheem Sterling, John Stones, Marko Arnautovic, Andy Carroll and Alvaro Morata are just some of the customers the London-born customiser has served.
Mitchell, 39, told SunSport: "I started my business in my mum's shed around 20 years ago and worked with prestige car businesses.
"That was the best way to get into the industry, and then I started doing work for certain clients, including agents of footballers. It snowballed from there.
"It was Wayne and Coleen Rooney that really helped put me on the map when I designed the interiors for their Audi Q7.
"We didn't deal with Wayne personally, but my wife dealt with Coleen and emailed back and forth.
"Coleen and Wayne wanted their Q7 to have red and black leather seats with diamond stitching.
"We also done work for John Stones, we designed the inside of his Mini and fitted it with nappa leather, diamond stitching and nice carpets.

"Most recently, Marko Arnautovic's Mercedes AMG GT came through our doors after it was wrapped by a company we work with called Premier Signs.
"It was a beautiful car, and they wanted red leather seats inside with diamond stitching.

"Andy Carroll's Range Rover also came to me, we've been lucky to have so many footballers come to us."
Mitchell has developed a business by giving footballers exactly what they want, but for a fair price.
"I try not to rip people off," he said.
"It's a competitive market, so you have to be fair. There are people out there that'll try to charge footballers more.
"I tend to charge around three to four grand for my services, it depends what car it is.
"But I'd say I specialise in Bentleys."
Footballers like Sterling, Morata and West Brom's Jake Livermore all love to be driven around in comfort and style.
That's why they all own Mercedes-Benz V-Class vans, that have a starting price of £48,155.
"They're crazy, the people carriers, and is what most of the guys want to be driven around in," Mitchell told us.
And with help from pal Barry Charalambous at Xclusiv Customs, he turns V-Class motors in the ultimate ride.
"They've got TV screens, game consoles and footballers love to chill out in them.
"These builds are hand build and designed by us in the UK.
"Each one is designed to the exact specification to the footballers' needs.
"They take about six weeks to do, and can cost up to £60k.
"We've done those for footballers including Raheem Sterling, Alvaro Morata and Jake Livermore.

"Footballers love their cars to be as luxurious as you can make it.
"In the past you've had someone like Djibril Cisse who has wanted snakeskin car seats.
"The people I deal with love their interiors to have diamond stitching, because that all stems from Bentley who were the first to do that.
"While a lot of players also want their club numbers stitched into the headrest.
"It's all a matter of choice and taste."
