Crystal Palace in shock talks to sign Stoke bad boy Saido Berahino who scored his last Prem goal against Eagles THREE YEARS ago
CRYSTAL PALACE boss Roy Hodgson is weighing up a late move for Saido Berahino - who scored his last Premier League goal against the Eagles THREE years ago.
The Stoke forward, 25, worked with Hodgson at West Brom as a youngster and is among the forwards being considered to bolster Palace's attack.
He will be allowed to leave Stoke after two years at the Bet365 Stadium.
Berahino's last goal in the top flight came against Palace - when he was playing for West Brom in February 2016.
And it was in August last year that the Borundi-born star ended a 913-day goal drought when he scored against Huddersfield in the Carabao Cup.
Berahino has five goals in all competitions for the Potters so far this season.
His last came in the 1-0 win over Millwall on December 22.
And a return to goal-scoring form seems to have coincided with a change in personal circumstances.

Berahino has gone back to his homeland in Africa to help out with poverty, and revealed to SunSport that that eye-opening experience has got him back on the straight and narrow.
He said: "I’m so far away from where I was two years ago.
