PIERRE-EMERICK AUBAMEYANG became the quickest Arsenal player to net 25 Premier League goals for the Gunners.
Arsenal beat Cardiff 2-1 last night, with Aubameyang opening the scoring from the spot - before strike partner Alexandre Lacazette made it 2-0.
Aubameyang’s opener from 12 yards was his 25th league goal in 37 games - meaning he has netted a quarter century of goals in the least amount of matches.
The Gabonese forward surpassed club legend Thierry Henry, who previously held the record at 42 games.
Behind Henry was Ian Wright on 61 games, while current Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez comes in at fourth having achieved the feat in 59 matches.
Premier League veteran Emmanuel Adebayor is fifth on the list having scored 25 goal in
62 Arsenal appearances.
