Marko Arnautovic suffers suspected broken foot as West Ham star leaves Molineux on crutches
The 29-year-old - who recently signed a new deal at the London Stadium - could be sidelined for up to six weeks
MARKO ARNAUTOVIC could be out of action for six weeks after suffering a suspected broken foot in West Ham's 3-0 defeat to Wolves last night.
The Austrian international landed awkwardly in the second half following an aerial challenge and was immediately replaced by Javier Hernandez.
Arnautovic - who recently penned a new Hammers deal to fend off interest from China - was making his first appearance since the 1-0 win against Arsenal on January 12.
But the 29-year-old's return to the starting XI ended in the worst possible way, as he left Molineux on crutches - much to the dismay of boss Manuel Pellegrini.
Speaking on the injury, expressed his frustration, as he is now left with just 15 senior players.
The Chilean said: "It will not be an easy injury.
"I hope he hasn't any problems but we must review him with an examination.
"It was a hard kick in his foot and I'm disappointed about that because we have just 15 fit players.
"We don't have any creative midfielders in this moment so it's difficult playing so many games with the same players."
The likes of Jack Wilshere, Manuel Lanzini, Andriy Yarmolenko, Lucas Perez, Samir Nasri, Fabian Balbuena, Aaron Cresswell, Winston Reid and Carlos Sanchez all missed the Wolves clash.

And Arnautovic's injury leaves just Hernandez and Andy Carroll available up front for Pellegrini ahead of the visit of Liverpool on Monday.
Since beating the Gunners, 11th-placed West Ham have lost their last three games in all competitions.
