Man Utd stars forced to drive expensive cars through dirty flooded entrance to training ground

The United squad were back in training at Carrington for their first session after Friday's FA Cup win at Arsenal

MANCHESTER UNITED players arrived for training this morning ahead of Tuesday’s clash with Burnley.

But they had to negotiate their expensive cars through a huge puddle outside the entrance of their Carrington training ground.

It was United’s first session since Friday’s FA Cup win over Arsenal at the Emirates.

Goals from Alexis Sanchez, Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial were enough to see off the Gunners as United go in the hat for Monday’s fifth-round draw.

The win maintained Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s perfect record in charge of the Reds following the sacking of Jose Mourinho.

And Solskjaer will look to make eight wins on the spin to strengthen his case of occupying the Old Trafford hot seat long-term when they face Burnley at home on Tuesday night.

The Norwegian was at the Etihad to run the rule over Clarets as they were brushed aside by 5-0 by Manchester City in the FA Cup.

Lingard has hailed the arrival of Solskjaer – the United attacker claims the new boss has banished the gloom and boring tactics of Mourinho's regime that turned the club into a pale imitation of the past.

And in a barely-disguised dig at his old manager, he told Soccer AM: "This is Man United and this is how we should be.

"If they score one, Ole knows that we're going to score two and he's always had that mindset.

"We wear suits for away games now to look the part. He wanted to bring back the United way.

"He's given us a lot of advice and he's let us play free which is the main thing.

"You want to play with freedom and you want to play with a smile on your face and Ole's let us do that."
