Liverpool to send Woodburn out on loan transfer again until end of season with Hull keen
Wales striker struggled with Sheffied United earlier this season - but the teenager is set for another Championship stint
LIVERPOOL may send Welsh whizkid Ben Woodburn out on loan again — with Hull leading the chase.
Woodburn, 19, had a nightmare spell at Sheffield United in the first half of the season.
But Anfield boss Jurgen Klopp wants him back in the Championship.
The Tigers have asked to take the striker after a successful spell with another Liverpool starlet, Harry Wilson, last season.
And Woodburn is keen to recharge his campaign, having struggled to unseat Mark Duffy for the promotion-seeking Blades before Christmas.
Liverpool even contemplated recalling him early as Klopp is keen for the Nottingham-born starlet to keep progressing.
Now Woodburn seems certain to land another temporary move - with Wales boss Ryan Giggs insisting the experience, good or bad, can toughen Woodburn up for the future.
Manchester United legend Giggs said during the pacy frontman's early-season woe at Bramall Lane: "Sometimes it works out on loan, sometimes it doesn't - but this could be a good thing
"When you go through difficult times, which he is at the moment, and you come through it, sometimes you are a better player and a better person.
"The quality is definitely there and it's up to Ben to make the most of that.
"It's only him that can do that."
