DENIS SUAREZ'S agent has stepped in to try and push through the Barcelona star's switch to Arsenal, according to reports.
The 25-year-old has emerged as Unai Emery's top target this month following their time together at Sevilla in the 2014/15 season.
Talks are ongoing between the two clubs and it is understood that an agreement has not yet been made.
According to a , the agent has stepped in and ordered the Spanish giants to sell the 25-year-old.
But the cash-strapped Gunners are struggling to meet Barcelona's demands and want to take him on loan with the option to buy.
Emery confirmed last week that the North London club have no money to spend on transfers this month.
And the Premier League club reportedly cannot afford to pay his mere £10 million transfer fee.
It is reported that Barcelona are only willing to sanction the deal if the Gunners will buy him at the end of the loan move.
The agent is now hopeful that the two clubs can complete a deal in the near future.
Suarez, who spent two years at Manchester City, would arrive to the Emirates as Aaron Ramsey's long-term successor.
