Emerson Palmieri wanted by Juventus as giants approach Chelsea over winter transfer deal
Left-back has made just 18 appearances since joining the Blues from Roma a year ago
JUVENTUS have reportedly made an enquiry for Chelsea defender Emerson Palmieri.
claims the left-back could be returning to Italy this month after an approach from Serie A’s star side.
Emerson has only been at Chelsea for a year after joining from Roma for around £26million.
But he has failed to displace Premier League title winner Marcos Alonso, with the majority of his appearances coming in Europe and the Carabao Cup.
And Juventus could now be set to rescue Emerson from his Stamford Bridge nightmare.
It is believed that Leonardo Spinazzola is on the verge of a loan move to Bologna.

And Max Allegri needs someone to take the pressure off Alex Sandro.
A move could be set to go ahead, with Emerson’s agent admitting there have been approaches from big teams.
Fernando Garcia said: “I think all the top European clubs would like to have a player like Emerson Palmieri in their squad.
“There has been some interest, although nothing formal, so there is nothing to report now. I cannot talk about the clubs who approached us.”
