Higuain transfer to Chelsea moves closer as AC Milan line up Man Utd flop Falcao to replace him
Monaco striker could be on his way to the San Siro this month as Milan prepare to meet Juve for talks over Higuain's Stamford Bridge switch
AC MILAN are reportedly lining up a move for Monaco star Radamel Falcao as Gonzalo Higuain edges towards Chelsea.
Italian news outlet claims Milan will attempt to bring Falcao to the San Siro if they are left short in attack this month.
Higuain is reportedly closing in on a six-month loan to Stamford Bridge in a bid to ease Maurizio Sarri’s attacking crisis.
And his exit would allow Milan to pounce for hitman Falcao, who dramatically failed in spells at both Chelsea and Manchester United.
Meanwhile, adds that Milan and Juventus chiefs are set to meet on Tuesday ahead of this week’s Italian Super Cup final in Saudi Arabia to discuss the terms of Higuain’s Chelsea switch.
The Argentina international is currently on loan at Milan from Juventus, meaning the Blues have to negotiate with two parties to get a deal over the line.

And it seems Chelsea are ready to pull out all the stops as Alvaro Morata closes in on a move away from Stamford Bridge.
The striker is wanted by Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, and has apparently been snapped in Spain along with his agent after being left out of the squad for Saturday’s win against Newcastle.
Morata’s wife Alice Campello seemingly confirmed they were out of the country too, posting images to Instagram Story showing the pair driving to Gatwick airport.
