Eric Bailly follows Man United team-mate Lukaku by signing for Jay Z’s Roc Nation Sports

ERIC BAILLY has followed in Manchester United team-mate Romelu Lukaku's footsteps by signing for Jay Z’s Roc Nation Sports management company.

The Ivorian defender, 24, becomes only the third footballer to sign with the music mogul, who represents some of the biggest names in US sport.

Bailly joins Bayern Munich star Jerome Boateng and Lukaku, along with NBA star Kevin Durant and boxing's Miguel Cotto.

Roc Nation Sports revealed the news, posting a picture of Bailly - last night named in the 2018 African Team of the Year - on Instagram.

The snap of Bailly was captioned: "Welcome to the family @ericbailly24 #RocFam #MUFC".

Meanwhile, Lukaku said: "A big welcome to the newest member of @rocnationsports family. My brother and team-mate @ericbailly24 #RocBoys".

Meanwhile, Bayern ace Boateng also welcomed the Ivorian defender to the team, writing: "Welcome to @rocnationsports @ericbailly24"."

Last year, SunSport revealed how Jay Z originally targeted Lukaku's Old Trafford team-mate Marcus Rashford when signing Lukaku.

However, Bailly may not be a United player for much longer, with reports claiming he wants to leave the club, with Sevilla interested.

Mundo Deportivo claim the La Liga giants are desperate for defensive reinforcements, while Bailly himself is growing frustrating by a lack of playing time.
