Radja Nainggolan suspended by Inter Milan for ‘disciplinary’ reasons
Belgian midfielder has struggled since a big-money move from Serie A rivals Roma over the summer
RADJA NAINGGOLAN has been suspended by Inter Milan due to disciplinary issues.
The Belgian midfielder, 30, arrived from Serie A rivals Roma in a £33million deal over the summer.
But he has struggled for Inter, who sit third in the table - 16 points behind leaders Juventus.
His club revealed: "Inter can confirm that Radja Nainggolan has been temporarily suspended from football activity for disciplinary reasons."
On Thursday, it was reported that Nainggolan had around £134,000 stolen from him by a gang using false cheques.
Later claims suggested the playmaker had lost a huge sum in a casino.
Controversial Nainggolan will miss a clash with second-place Napoli on December 26.
The Belgium ace retired from international football after being snubbed by Roberto Martinez for the World Cup.
Martinez led his side to third place in Russia - beating England twice along the way.
Inter are yet to confirm the reasons for Nainggolan's suspension.
