Ole Gunnar Solskjaer arrives at Man United training with plan to imitate Sir Alex Ferguson
OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER arrived at Manchester United's training ground in the early hours this morning, with a plan to imitate Sir Alex Ferguson.
The former Molde chief, 45, was officially announced as Jose Mourinho's replacement yesterday morning, until the end of the 2018-19 season.
The Special One was given the boot in the immediate aftermath of Sunday's 3-1 drubbing at the hands of Liverpool.
Now former United super-sub - and ex-Cardiff boss - Solskjaer has been called up to the big leagues following a successful spell in Norway.
And this morning Solskjaer - along with players, including Luke Shaw and Chris Smalling - were seen arriving at Carrington for Thursday's training session.
Now, compatriot and former Premier League defender Brede Hangeland reckons United fans have real cause for excitement... as Solskjaer is just like Sir Alex Ferguson.
Hangeland told the Times: "Solskjaer is so influenced by Sir Alex Ferguson.
"I don’t think I’ve met anyone so influenced by any one person other than their parents.
"He talks about him still as the boss, he tells stories from those days all the time and he models everything he does on Sir Alex."
But Hangeland claimed the "Baby-Faced Assassin" won't go easy on his pampered United stars.

The former Fulham star claimed: "He looks like the nicest boy ever.
"But he does have another side to him... he knows what he wants.
"Sir Alex had a temper so Solskjaer will try to replicate his old manager as best he can.
"I’ve seen Ole raise his voice; it’s a calculated move to get attention. He’s a calm, sensible man by nature.
"The good managers are calm and are acting when they supposedly lose their temper.
"He has a persona that means you would rather live up to his standards than take the yelling afterwards."
Solskjaer proved he has a mean streak too, after footage of him telling his Molde players to "just f***ing shoot" in a heated training session went viral.
Meanwhile, United fans can look forward to an attacking brand of football under the Norwegian... and here's how they could line-up.
