Arsenal eyeing move for Polish prodigy Radoslaw Majecki from Legia Warsaw
Teenager could replace Cech as Leno's understudy, with the Czech Republic veteran turning 37 next May
ARSENAL are considering a move for Polish goalkeeping prodigy Radoslaw Majecki, according to reports.
The Under-20 international has won rave reviews since breaking into Legia Warsaw's first team last month.
Majecki has kept six clean sheets in eight games for the reigning Ekstraklasa champions.
And Gunners boss has had the 19-year-old watched in several league fixtures as well as on international duty.
Arsenal have signed Polish shot-stoppers in the past.
Lukasz Fabianski, who has excelled since leaving the club with Swansea and now West Ham, was signed in 2007 and spent seven years with the club.
While Wojciech Szczesny signed for the North London club in 2009 and stayed for 8 years - and is currently the Juventus number one.
Emery's squad already boasts the capable keepers of German international Bernd Leno, 26, and ex-chelsea legend Petr Cech, 37.
Majecki is very much seen as one for the future.
But reports in Poland claim financial problems will prompt Legia to sell players during the transfer window.
According to Przeglad Sportowy in Warsaw, the Gunners could sign Majecki next month, then loan him back to the Polish club for the rest of the season.
The teenager could yet replace Cech as Leno's understudy, with the Czech Republic veteran turning 37 next May.
