MANCHESTER UNITED are once again in the hunt for a new manager after three disastrous appointments in five years.
Jose Mourinho is the latest boss to get the chop following Sunday's humiliating 3-1 loss at Liverpool.
The Portuguese leaves Old Trafford with a £24million pay-off after just two full seasons in which he failed to achieve Premier League or Champions League glory.
SunSport exclusively revealed Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is United's top target.
But there are a number of top bosses that could bring back smiles to the Theatre of Dreams - including old rival Arsene Wenger.
LAURENT BLANC
FORMER France boss knows the club after his own spell at Old Trafford under Fergie and has managerial and title-winning experience with PSG.
But France is now a one-club league and arguably Blanc’s Ligue 1 triumph with Bordeaux in 2009 means more.
Blanc will have an affinity with Pogba and Martial, while he was an elite player and will seek to coach improvements from the defenders who have been so poor recently.
Would take the job like a shot.

LATEST MAN UTD NEWS
MAURICIO POCHETTINO
THE MAN Sir Alex Ferguson wanted three years ago… but the Argentine has yet to win a trophy despite the talent at his disposal.
Pochettino loves working with youngsters and bringing them through and United would hope to lure the likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli too. Daniel Levy will fight tooth and nail to keep all three.
And would Pochettino really want to start from scratch just at the point Spurs are on the verge of making their dreams a reality?
ZINEDINE ZIDANE
IF UNITED want a marquee manager and proven winner, they cannot do better or bigger than the man who won an unprecedented three successive Champions Leagues.
And he did it by bringing a fractious dressing room together after the problems he inherited from Rafa Benitez.
Zidane knows exactly how to make superstars work for the team, with his own stellar career a huge magnet for players who want to be led.
ANTONIO CONTE
ITALIAN was Mourinho’s full-time successor at Chelsea and rebuilt the club to win the title with some fantastic football.
But Conte only lasted at two years because, just like Mourinho before him, he fell out with the players under his command.
It was not as explosive or inflammatory but still undermined the club’s ambitions and he left having missed out on the top four.
Do United really want another manager who could sow dressing room dissent and disunity? Surely not.
ARSENE WENGER
THE IDEA of Wenger at United would have been unthinkable when his relationship with Fergie was at its most fractious and intense.
But time heals and the two men forged a bond of real friendship and respect. Wenger feels he has something to prove after being forced to leave Arsenal against his will.
The former Gunners chief could tell Pogba that he would be his Patrick Vieira, the heartbeat of the team.
Wenger knows he can handle the pressures of a big club and will feel he has the ammunition to bring United back to the top quickly.
