Next Manchester United manager: Laurent Blanc odds-on favourite to replace Jose Mourinho
LAURENT BLANC is now a massive favourite to replace Jose Mourinho as the next permanent Manchester United manager.
Blanc's odds have shifted from 9/1 to just 4/6 ahead of the former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane who is now 5/1.
Blanc spent two seasons at Old Trafford, making 75 appearances and helping United win the 2002-03 Premier League title before hanging up his boots.
The 53-year-old has received 65 per cent of all bets in this market following Mourinho's departure.
Mourinho was dismissed by Manchester United less than 48 hours after their heavy 3-1 defeat to Liverpool.

Leonardo Jardim is 16/1 ahead of Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino who has drifted to 7/1.

"Those are long gone, and he's now odds-on across the board following the spate of bets placed on the Frenchman."
Mourinho guided Manchester United to their worst start to a season in 28 years.

"The club would like to thank Jose for his work during his time at Manchester United and to wish him success in the future.
"A new caretaker manager will be appointed until the end of the current season, while the club conducts a thorough recruitment process for a new, full-time manager."
