Former Man City and Liverpool ace is no stranger to a prank - he once set off fireworks in his house and threw a dart at a youth player

Balotelli can be seen wresting his pal in the changing room and proceeds to smear paint on his face.

And it’s not the first prank the forward has played on his team-mates.

When at Man City, he threw a dart at one of the youth players and also set off fireworks in his house.

At Inter Milan he made a TV appearance wearing an AC Milan shirt.

Former team-mate Marco Pedretti has admitted the Nice ace was a piece of work in his early days.

Speaking to JOE, he said: “He liked to mess about like he does now, but he was a child back then. He was constantly a real pain in the neck and would pull pranks all the time. Bad ones, sometimes.

Balotelli is no stranger to a prank

Balotelli, 28, is enduring a poor run of form in France.

And many will think he should stop pranking and start performing.

He has not scored a goal in ten Ligue 1 games – and has picked up five yellow cards already this term.

And SunSport reported that he returned to pre-season overweight – weighing a whopping 103 kg.
