PRESTON goalkeeper Declan Rudd has a strong candidate for worst goalkeeper howler EVER thanks to this astonishing gaffe.
Birmingham's Maikel Kieftenbeld was the lucky player to benefit from the jaw-dropping error.
The Dutch defender was just trying to lump it forward from a good 40 yards out when he saw the ball bounce forward.
He could be forgiven for turning away in expectation Rudd would pick the ball up.
And for all the money in the world it looked like he would, until he inexplicably let it bounce through his hands and his legs and into the back of the net.
Cameras at St Andrew's caught Kieftenbeld doubling over in hysterics at his amazing slice of good fortune, which gave his side the lead in the 46th minute.
