ASHLEY COLE could reunite with John Terry at Aston Villa as he plots his next move.
The England legend is a free agent after his deal at LA Galaxy expired at the end of the MLS season.
SunSport exclusively revealed how Cole has been offered fresh terms by LA Galaxy on a £5,000-a-week deal.
It is considerably lower than the £10,900 he pocketed on his previous contract.
Cole, 37, proved he still has something to offer after he was named the fan's Player of the Year last season.
And according to the Mirror, Cole is interested in returning to England with a host of Championship clubs vying for his signature.
The left-back, who earned 107 caps with England, has numerous offers already on the table with one thought to be Villa.
The Midlands side could consider themselves among the favourites to land his signature considering Terry's friendship with Cole.
Terry, now a coach at Villa, won countless trophies at Stamford Bridge in the heart of defence alongside his former team-mate.
Derby boss Frank Lampard could also be tempted to offer him a deal.
Chelsea are also keen on ex-players like Cole starting their coaching careers at Stamford Bridge.
Cole, who was pictured recently using snus with his long-term girlfriend, joined LA Galaxy in 2016 following an illustrious club career for Arsenal, Chelsea and Roma.
He was later appointed captain of the side and went onto make 86 appearances over two seasons.
