The Three Lions have to beat the World Cup runners-up in order to qualify for the Uefa Nations League finals next summer.

While defeat against Zlatko Dalic's men would see England relegated to Group B.

Dier and Delph will now be tasked with winning the midfield battle against Real Madrid maestro Luka Modric and Inter Milan linchpin Marcelo Brozovic.

And supporters aren't confident the duo are up to the task, with one tweeting: "Why is Dier and Delph playing this isn't a friendly."
